As of now, we are very excited to have opened the recruitment for our INTENSE study! We recently got medical ethical approval to run this study at the UMC Utrecht and we are now actively looking for our first participant.

In this study we will implant 1 participant with fully implantable system with 32 channel high-density grid placed over the hand region of sensorimotor cortex. The goal of this project is to establish home- and independent communication through a computer using brain signals recorded directly from the cortex.
